Every year we are happy to support the participants of the MAGENTA Landscape Design Festival. This year the festival is about the city in nature and nature in the city. The aim is to update urbanised nature and strengthen the role of landscape design in creating a better and healthier future.

The project “Gamtofisas” is a proposal for the urban person to break free from the enclosed grey spaces and give in to the illusion of naturalness. The viewer, coming here, can work on the usual office daily tasks, but the surrounding natural environment undoubtedly adds new colours to the working day, increases productivity and avoids additional stress. This installation is an artificial island of nature in an urban sea, but at the same time, it is an invitation to think, and for the viewer, an opportunity to try and feel, to be convinced that functional permanent green spaces are necessary in the urban fabric. A square, a park, a riverside is not necessarily just a bench, a path for pedestrians, cyclists and a children’s playground. A green space in a city can and should be much more than that – inviting and comfortable to visit not only for recreation but also for work.
