    Travelling Architecture Workshop Project 2021

Throughout the year, we contribute to a variety of projects, large and small – some of which are about marketing money, others of which we simply believe in. Maybe we earn karma points.

This Travelling Architecture Workshop project is special to us – old-fashioned “live”, engaging, well put together, interesting and valuable. Ambitious students from the Academy of Fine Arts, together with pupils from the Nevarėnai School, created and crafted with their own hands in the schoolyard, so that the yard could truly become theirs and for them. Greenery, youth and fresh idealism.

As a team, we often scoff at the ‘hyped-up’, advertising slogans of sustainability around us, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that for these young people, sustainability is indeed a naturally important part of their life philosophy, a deliberate choice. For the first time, after a lecture on thermal wood, we received so many questions on this very topic, not just on performance. This is encouraging. Hope and light.
