Markučiai Stop is an installation in the Markučiai district, the aim of which is to initiate a relationship between the local community and the Vilnelė River, which flows through the area where they live. The installation is based on an unused but highly potential open space near the Markučiai bus stop. This location is the only vantage point within the administrative boundaries of Markučiai with a direct view of the Vilnelė River and Pavilniai Regional Park.

Through simple means (painted surfaces, wooden terraces, new seating areas and planting), the Markučiai community and other residents of Vilnius City are invited to sit and relax, meet and gather for celebrations, events, excursions and leisure time in this newly created public space.
