It was such a blessing for us to contribute to the birth of a generation of creators! It was fascinating. The final works were from the Department of Interior Design, but not a single one of them was just an interior…
They were all conceptual and bold, blurring the lines between architecture, social problem solving, and performance. There was everything from traditional wicker weaving and intertwining forms with nature and city residents, to impressive and poetic space transformations where underground passages, unused buildings, farms, and roofs acquired new meanings and experiences. There was even a city-level system for accommodating homeless puppies, as well as the creation of new organic materials and the repurposing of old ones.
These light Brolis thermo timber racks, created in just a few nights, can easily be transformed into study furniture later on. It’s good to know that they will serve a meaningful purpose.
