Summerhouse in Vilnius
This concept was brought in by the client himself – one rectangular volume is artfully placed on top of another, like a stack of blocks.
The strict minimalism is at odds with the traditional image of a summer house, as well as with the domestic context of the site. The building’s materiality is integrated into the context: the natural thermo-wood and black slate look harmonious against the background of the coniferous forest.
